ATP 823P – Queensland Surat Basin
Project Summary
Drillsearch holds 100% of ATP 823P, located in the Surat Basin, and covering a total area of 682 km2 (168,599 acres). The Surat Basin is located in southeastern Queensland and is one of Australia’s most active areas for oil, gas, and coal seam methane exploration and production.
The ATP 823P block is ideally located in an active hydrocarbon system and has expanded Drillsearch’s exploration position in Queensland. Several leads and prospects have been identified by mapping the vintage 2D seismic data and analysis of available well data.
Recent Activity
Drillsearch has completed it initial prospectivity study and has identified several leads and prospects with in the exploration permit. Drillsearch plans to acquire 3D seismic over the Maurachan basement high and Golden Springs prospect as well as the Pembroke prospects, based on current mapping leads in these areas hold an accumulation of 17 million bbls OOIP.
