Recent Activity

In April 2012 a gas discovery was made with Southend-1. The well encountered gas shows over two intervals with signs of possible hydrocarbon liquids content. The well was cased and suspended for future cased-hole extended production testing in the Patchawarra Formation.

The Kiana oilfield is nearing the end of its economic life, the well will continue to be monitored and oil entering the wellbore will be evacuated on a regular basis.
